Alwani Bahrain promotes KhairPlus initiative among women volunteers and associations

Alwani Bahrain announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with KhairPlus initiative to promote this initiative among women's associations.The initiative offers a professional website, payment solutions and applications for all charitable and voluntary organizations in Bahrain.

The Chairman of the Association, economist Ammar Awaji said that the technical support package provided by KhairPlus initiative will also be available to women entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs whose projects involve aspects of social responsibility and serving and developing the Bahraini society.

Awaji stressed the importance of this in encouraging women based on civil society institutions as well as women entrepreneurs in the transition towards the knowledge economy and its applications, harnessing modern technologies in philanthropy and public benefit, and increase the desired returns.

For his part, Emad Al-Asfour, CEO of Bab Al Bahrain, owner of Khair Plus, said that the initiative, in its fourth phase, was able to provide more than forty NGOs and a civil society institution with the latest modern technologies in dealing with the Internet as well as managing money with prudence, transparency and credibility. We are proud of the success achieved so far.

Al-Asfour stressed the importance of partnership with Alwani Bahrain Society in reaching an important segment of women in charitable, voluntary and humanitarian work, and encouraging them to integrate technology and digital solutions in their initiatives and projects.
